Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum

For the first time, the International Economic Forum of Russia and the countries participating in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in 2009, creating a leading international platform for discussing cooperation and implementing joint projects. In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, the international economic forum “Russia — Islamic World: KazanForum” acquired federal status. The event in Kazan is of great importance not only for the regions of Russia, but also for foreign countries. The purpose of the Forum is to strengthen trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
